Synopsis of Divine's Choice

This is a hilarious book I have just finished copy editing for an author. It is a great read.  Let me know if you require more information about this book and how to read the full version.

Synopsis of Divine’s Choice by Alistair Carthew
Unconventional Queen Liliana—she rolls her own cigarettes--wants to preserve the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha dynasty’s grip on the English monarchy. Her headstrong sole heir, Princess Divine falls in love with an All Black from Proud (formerly New Zealand).
Divine runs away, twice, pursued by her misogynist father, King Filip, a Norwegian with a Viking complex. A great battle at a Māori pa involves a fake moa, elderly mercenaries, a Māori gang and even Harrier Jump Jets and gorillas. Divine returns to become queen and marry Joshua, her handsome All Black.
But tragedy dogs the couple. Liliana’s dream of preserving her family’s dynasty is threatened until an elegant solution is proposed by her new husband, a Māori ex-soldier from Manutuke on the North Island’s East Coast. Meanwhile the British Commonwealth is under attack. Australia has nefarious designs on Proud.
Divine’s Choice is a timely parody of two of the global elites—the English monarchy and the All Blacks—at a time when both institutions face unsettling future challenges. Humorous but insightful, Divine’s Choice is a timely—perhaps prescient—novel for the times.
